The seven suspects arrested in connection with the abduction and killing of Mohammad Sulaiman, were ordered by Colombo Additional Magistrate Nishantha Peiris to be detained for 48 hours under the custody of the Colombo Crimes Division (CCD).
The suspects are residents of Adurupuweediya, Sedawatta, Wellampitiya, Colombo 12 and 14.
The CCD informed court that the according to the JMO's report the Bambalapitiya businessman had died from the injuries he suffered from being assaulted by a blunt weapon.
