The three suspects who were arrested by the Police Narcotic Bureau (PNB) in
connection with the largest ever detection of cocaine, 91.3 kilos, valued at
Rs.2 billion at the Container Yard Orugodawatta on June 14, were ordered to be
detained till June 22 by the Maligakanda Additional Magistrate yesterday.
The detention order was given following a request made by the PNB to court
asking for more time to question the suspects.
The Police produced the suspects in the Maligawatta Magistrate’s Court on 15.
